300 NORTH BROAD STREET

The Chem-Fab site is located on N. Broad Street in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. From 1965 to 1994, the company operated an electroplating and metal processing facility, at the site, and also stored and dumped processing chemicals on-site. Groundwater underlying the site is contaminated with metals, volatile organic compounds, chemicals commonly found in solvents and degreasers. The volatile organic compounds have been found in three municipal wells and several residential wells. There is potential for contaminated groundwater to vaporize and enter homes from the soil beneath them.
