Three facility buildings remain on site. Residences and forested land border the site. The closest residence is approximately 500 feet from the site. The residential area includes low-income and minority residents. The site includes the area where an electroplating facility operated from 1956 to 1986. Operations generated waste containing heavy metals. In 2012, EPA finalized the Site listing to the NPL. Currently, the site is not in use. However, parties have expressed interest in redeveloping the site property.
